Invista will close the fibre production in Germany by the end of 2010
Wuppertal, 09.06.2010 - At the end of this year Invista (Germany) GmbH will close its manufacturing plant in Oestringen. According to the statement of the company the reasons for this decision are the low demand and the high costs of production. Presumably the production in Kerkrade (in the Netherlands) will be closed as well.
Due to this fact the number of important yarn suppliers for carpet flooring will be reduced considerably.
