Compared to former years the size of bathrooms clearly increased. In Germany the average bathroom is of 7.7 m2. Also the bathroom as rest area of ease and comfort gained in importance. 75 % of all respondents confirmed to Forsa Institute that the atmosphere in their bathrooms must bring them that happy-all-over feeling.
Textile caresses for your feet
With cosy accessories your bathroom will become a wellness oasis. Soft and fluffy bathroom carpets and textile mats for toilets and bidets on a cold floor can warm up your feet. Furthermore, they make your bathroom more attractive and skid-proof. This is of utmost importance for elderly persons.
Bathroom carpets exist in countless colour combinations and designs. You will find them for all tastes and for all styles of home decoration. In the meantime also cotton products are offered not only in a natural state but also in many different colours. Within a few weeks the suppliers are even able to satisfy consumer wishes for individual colours, special sizes and special forms. Give an expressive touch to your bathroom by means of selected articles. So you will highlight its unique cosiness.
Long life by good care
Whether made of acrylic or of cotton – keep your bathroom carpet in good condition. Please note the following and be sure to enjoy your bathroom carpet for a long time:
- Please use only mild detergents and no fabric softener.
- Dry your bathroom carpet at low temperatures in a tumbler (if available).
- Big carpets should be cleaned in a laundry – no dry-cleaning.
- Don’t use aggressive, chloric or alkaline detergents for cleaning the floor because possibly remaining components may affect the latex backcoating of the bathroom carpet.

They are soft, decorative and easy-care – shower curtains of textile materials. The warm fabrics are flexible to all movements. Taking a shower behind textile curtains gives a sense of well-being and security. Trendy curtain fabrics are extremely easy-care. Often it is sufficient to wash them at 30 °C once a month only. Many textile shower curtains have got an antistatic finish and in particular a finish against mould stains.

- Clean the curtain with warm water each time after showering
- For drying draw the curtain wide open
- Make sure that there is a good air circulation – open window or adjust the ventilation
- Mount the slide bar with a distance of 20 cm to the ceiling
From bath towels to bathrobes
A soft, fluffy towel after a shower or a bath envelopes your body with agreeable warmth. You should pay attention that the towel is absorbent, otherwise the effect of moisture on your skin would make you feel uncomfortable. Towels of microfibres dry even more efficiently than terry towels of cotton. For going into your dressing room or to your armoire you can slip in a warm cosy bathrobe so that you won’t be cold.

Also your bathroom can’t be imagined without comfortable interior accessories, reaching from design-oriented bathroom sets, bouquets of artificial flowers and foliage plants to separate rest areas with seats. Please respect the harmony of designs and colours of your bathroom furniture so that you feel well. And don’t forget to choose materials being moisture-repellent and easy-care.
