Changes in the Management of the Association of the German Home Textiles Industry
Wuppertal, 03. 12.2009 - Lawyer Martin Auerbach takes over the management of the Association of the German Home Textiles Industry
The Board has to announce that the Managing Director of the Association of the German Home Textiles Industry, Mr Hans Joachim Schilgen, asked to be relieved from his duties related to his office, due to different opinions on the strategic orientation of the Association. Mr Schilgen will meet new challenges and act with a greater deal of own initiative in future.
On behalf of the Board of VDHI the President Mr Johannes Schulte, CEO of Vorwerk Teppichwerke, thanks Mr Schilgen for his 18 years’ activity for the Association and the very successful management during the last 16 years. Fact is that under his aegis the prestige and appreciation of the Association could be enhanced, offering potential for the future.
With regret we accept his decision and wish Mr Hans Joachim Schilgen continued success in business and private life.
Fortunately we were able to appoint the successor from the circle of the Heads of the Divisions of the Association and we have the pleasure to inform you that Mr Martin Auerbach, lawyer, accepted the office of the Managing Director. Simultaneously, Mr Martin Auerbach has been and will continue to be the Head of the Department Legal Affairs.
We wish him success and skills for future-oriented decisions.
