Occupational Health and Safety / Fire Protection
By a professional training programme Mr Gerhard Sperling qualified as a Safety Engineer and a Fire Safety Officer. Thus we are now in the position to offer competent support to you in the domains of occupational health and safety and fire protection.
According to the German labour legislation solely the entrepreneur is responsible, respectively that person is responsible to whom the entrepreneurial obligations for occupational health and safety are assigned. These obligations contain a whole set of tasks for which specialized knowledge is essential.
Occupational health and safety is a topic about which there is still a great deal of ignorance. In case of non-fulfilment of the legal duties, in addition to fines the entrepreneur even can be faced with legal consequences. For the year 2008 alone the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) estimated the economic production loss at 43 billion euros in total respectively the loss of the gross value added at 78 billion euros, due to inability to work caused by accidents at work respectively by occupational diseases.
In order to assist you and for your legal security we can offer to you:
- Providing a safety officer and taking over his tasks (in line with §§ 5 – 6 of the German Occupational Safety Legislation - ASiG)
- Issue of risk assessments (in line with §§ 5 – 6 of the German Labour Protection Law - ArbSchG)
- Issue of safe operating procedures (in line with § 9 of the German Labour Protection Law § 9 Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health – BetrSichV, etc.)
- In-plant instruction of the employees (in line with § 12 of the German Labour Protection Law)
- Safety-relevant advice on planned investments respectively new constructions or reconstructions
- Advice on the choice of personal protective equipment
- Advice on questions concerning fire protection
- Seminars and personal and corporate training
- Information by circular letters
Mr Gerhard Sperling would be pleased to answer any further questions.
