Market partners, other Associations and Institutions

 
The Association of the German Interior Textile Industry has forged a close cooperation with the market partners of its members. This cooperation includes 

  •  Suppliers 
  •  Customers from
    - Wholesale and Retail Trade
    - Craft
    - Interior Designers
    - Construction, Furniture and Automotive Industry
    - and their associations 
  •  Confederation of the German Textile and Fashion Industry, their working groups and member associations 
  •  FACHTEX 
  •  Further industrial sectors and institutions such as
    - Chemical industry
    - Wool Interiors, IWTO 
  •  Research Institutes, i.e. DWI, TFI, TITV, GuT etc. 
  • Consumer Associations, Standardisation Bodies and Quality Organisations.
The key aspects of interest of the individual branches of the economy are often differing from each other in the economic-political field in foreign trade matters, market questions etc. It belongs to the tasks of the Association to enforce the concerns of the interior textile industry and, if necessary, to agree to compromises with the associations of other sectors of the economy. One of the important activities of the Association is the permanent contact and the cooperation with associations of suppliers and customers (see also menu item “Partners”), aiming at detecting joint problems of the branch as early as possible to contribute to solutions in a most cooperative way.
